Harmonic gearing is the gearbox, which operating based upon the elastic mechanics of metals and is consist of Wave Generator, Flex spline and Circular Spline The features of Harmonic gearing

1.High Ratio

It can reach 1:30 to 1:320 ratios with simple three element construction

2.Zero backlash

Compared to other gears, the zero-backlash characteristic of Harmonic can reach the high precision performance

3.High repeatability positioning precision

The number of tooth in engagement simultaneously in 180° and the tooth pitch error and cumulative pitch error, the factor of Rotational Accuracy, were be average. It can reach the high precision performance.

4.Simply elements and easy installation

Only three elements and simply design, it is easy to installation.

5.Minimize size and weight

The size of Harmonic is less 2/3 and weight is 2/1 compared to other gearbox

6.High Torque output

Flex Spline is a thin cylindrical cup made from alloy steel with external teeth on the open end of the cup. Owning to the Flex Spline tooth and Circular Spline contact fully, the output torque is relatively high

7.Operating quiet

Transmission averagely and operating quiet and smooth.
